Detox summer drink!

Summer has finally come to an end with its friend the sun. And let's be honest it turned out a bit abruptly that we haven't started our summer diet. Don't worry, at YUJ we have found the miracle solution! Small refreshing and slimming drinks to accompany you everywhere, even to your yoga sessions!

Tip number 1: simple and effective, the lemon drink!

It is well known and yet we often forget it, lemon is renowned for its slimming properties. And very useful to quench your thirst but also a very good appetite suppressant for gourmets who would like to stop snacking during the day! Recipe :
  • 1L of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 thermos or carafe

Heat a liter of water but do not bring to a boil. Once the water is lukewarm, pour everything into a thermos or carafe. Then cut the lemon in half. Then cut one of the halves into a thin strip and let them steep in warm water. Then with the other half, squeeze the lemon to incorporate the juice into the drink. Leave to infuse for 15 minutes. If you want to drink it warm you can consume it immediately, if you prefer it cold, put it in the fridge for a good hour.

Tip number 2: Essential, green tea!

If Asians have such a perfect body, it's due to their diet. And it is indeed true that green tea, which is their main drink, helps digestion while draining the liver and promoting the transformation of stored fat into energy. Recipe :
  • 1 container of your choice (bowl, mug, thermos, etc.)
  • 2 grams of green tea leaves
  • Some water
  • 1 tea ball

Boil some water. In the meantime, place the leaves in the tea ball then pour boiling water over the green tea. Leave to infuse, covered, for 3 minutes then remove the tea infuser. Drink three cups of green tea a day. (Morning, noon during the meal and in the evening during the meal or when going to bed)

Tip number 3: the detox smoothie for a flat stomach!

For more consistency there is the smoothie! The basis of a smoothie is the perfect dosage of its fruit mix. Be careful not to take any fruit. Instead, take fruits like raspberry which is rich in fiber and pectin, it gives a feeling of satiety. Mix it with pineapple or grapefruit, which are great for losing belly fat. Because they evacuate toxins from the body, thus promoting the loss of fat cells. Also use fruits like pears or apples or pomegranate. They contain a good dose of flavonoids which help burn abdominal fat. Recipe :
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate juice
  • ½ pear
  • 1 grapefruit
And here are three recipes for losing a little weight without having to run for several kilometers in the middle of a heat wave. Don't forget to practice a little sport to help eliminate fat. A few yoga sessions will help you eliminate the stress that is in you and cleanse you completely. There you go, your drink in hand, you're ready for the bikini test of the summer!
